I mentioned the other day that you could do some investigating on your own – How To Find Top Toys For Christmas 2011.

The lists above are NOT always right… they are best “guesstimates” from these retailers.

The true story comes from the “buyers”.  And if you watch Amazon “Movers and Shakers” and “Most Wished For” lists (which constantly change) you will see some wild “gyrations” over the next few months.

Right Now the number 1 Most Wished For is LeapFrog LeapPad Explorer Learning Tablet – which is on both lists.

While you are walking the toy store aisle – you start to get a “feel” for what’s going to be Big.  Walmart has a big display (much like the display used for Big Foot) with Transformers Mechtech Ultimate Optimus Prime featured.   The kids are all flocking around this thing… and even though I don’t care a whit about buying toys anymore (Kids are over 30) – it’s still pretty cool.

And I heard this thing being used – until I thought I was going to slap some child. *giggle*

I predict this to be popular for Christmas this year.

I’m sticking to Star Wars and Transformer merchandise as my top predictions for popularity.  (Anything) I think the stores shelves will be bare of this brand long before the holiday season is over.
