Hi everyone! Video below explaining how I plan to Eliminate Amazon Competition.
I want to explore with you the idea of selling products that have little or no competition and I’m going to give some ideas that will unfold as we go.
These ideas could eliminate the frustration we all have with competition and take back some control of our business.
So – here is how the frustration starts:
You buy “stuff” to sell on Amazon and the price tanks.
Remember the last time you researched and found a great product to sell on Amazon. It had great sales rank – great profits and you could get your hands on that product over and over.
Maybe you just bought a few to test and… it sold fast.
Of course, you bought more to send in and they sold fast.
You are the ONLY seller and it’s YOUR Buy Box.
You keep buying and selling – buying and selling, happy as a clam – then one day the sales seemed to have dried up.
Someone has found this product to sell and they have jumped right in the middle of your personal race for profit.
The Amazon Competition Has Begun
Now what? I feel like I have this hurdle to jump and I’m not all that agile.
Do you wait out the competition?
Do you start playing that re-pricing game?
Do you pull the products and have them sent back to you?
I have felt this same frustration – often. In fact – my first holiday selling season was awful. Awful.
I think I sourced every toy that was going to tank in price. I mean EVERY TOY seemed to be a stinker.
I didn’t know how to solve that problem.
I held prices – then I dropped prices – the competition dropped the price – then I pushed the prices back up again.
Now I feel I’m playing this game.
Should I keep the price 2% higher than the lowest priced seller?
Should I match the price of the lowest prices seller.
Should I raise the price up so I’m 3rd on the list?
This was a frustration I had no real idea how to win. I felt like this competition hurdle was getting Bigger and Bigger.
The Amazon Competition Hurdle Keeps Getting Higher
Again, I just didn’t know how to solve that problem and ended the year feeling a bit defeated.
I knew that I needed to learn about selling something more predictable on Amazon.
What do we all want to sell on Amazon?
We want to sell predictable products that we can sell over and over that avoid the frustration of competition.
That’s the goal.
That’s the race I want to run… the race that would eliminate much of the frustrations and would put some of the FUN back into selling products.
What if we could solve the worst of this problem by starting to introduce products that move the competition to the side?
Bundles Are The Answer
In this video I cover the frustration and the answer in detail:

I hope your email is a success. But your message is unclear, I’m not sure what you’re selling, your web design is not up to today’s standards, and your audio is worse than wonky — it’s unintelligible. Sharpen your focus and improve production quality all around. I realize nobody asked me about any of this, but I took the time to write it, anyway. Hope it helps.
Hi Debra, great content in your video. It helped me a lot and generate a whole new approach in marketing my products without a worry about the competition out there. Thank you.
