What is the best way to make money with websites and blogs? Is is Adsense or Amazon or Clickbank or any of the other multiple ways that are taught? I’m here to tell you there is no “Best” way. I’m using just about every idea and option that is available. ;=
Can you make money with Adsense? Yes – emphasize the word YES – you can. I’ve been earning about $1000 per month from just Adsense for months. I remember when I was excited when I earned my first $100 paycheck from Google Adsense. You could see this girl doing the happy dance for days. 🙂
Then when I reached the $500 mark I knew I was on to something. I couldn’t get my affiliate marketing to convert – but I was doing well with Adsense.
Now days I have learned to get my affiliate sales to convert better – and I’m working on really getting that to increase month over month. The backbone that has allowed me to concentrate on affiliate marketing with IPK is that I’ve had this little Adsense money machine working for me in the background.
You would not believe the amount of times I’ve read that Google Adsense is a waste of time and doesn’t make any money. The people that complain about the low pay out for clicks and the pennies they earn… are not doing it right. If I can work my way up to $1000 a month – anyone can. I’m no expert.
I don’t have any tricks or huge tips for making money with Adsense. I can tell you that it takes a lot of content. I mean – A Ton of Content.
What about combining Adsense and affiliate product marketing on the same site? It works. My two biggest Adsense earning sites also sell a ton of products – mostly through Amazon.
This is a screen shot of this months earnings so far from Adsense:
I do make Adsense income from some of the smaller IPK style websites I’ve set up… but only because they didn’t end up converting well for the affiliate products I was targeting. I’ve found that combing both Adsense and Affiliate products works best on Large “Authority” Style Sites. I built most of my large sites using a combination of original (written by me), Public Domain and rewritten PLR.
I finally finished reading this thread at the Warrior Forum. It’s about how one guy has exploded his Adsense income If you have a day or two to read through it all you will gain some invaluable tips for earning with Adsense. This is the thread: Adsense Lessons. He now has a product teaching his system… but also suggests that if you will read the entire thread you will get the same info for free. Essentially – the system looks a lot like IPK but without affiliate links – just Adsense.
It seems that he is putting “All His Eggs In One Basket”. I will never believe that having only “one” system or revenue source is a bright idea. It’s too much of a gamble and I’m not in to big risk when it comes to income. He is earning a huge amount of cash every month… so we know that you can make money with Adsense.

I learned from on of the best Adsense teachers on the planet. Joel Comm. Of course – I have morphed his teachings into my own system... but you can get a good idea of where to start here: adsense-secrets.com and I did purchase this book as well – Adsense Code.
My goal was to get my average Adsense income up to $1500 a month by the end of the year. I’ve gotten sidetracked with building small micro niche sites. Since the end of April – I’ve purchased 41 new domain names and gotten 26 of them built and indexed. I’m getting a little bit burnt out building micro niche sites… and I need a break.
So… I’m going back to my Adsense sites and looking at the stats to see where I can improve my Adsense and Affiliate Income. I’d still like to reach my goal of averaging $1500 a month in Adsense.

Hi Debra. Just getting around to reading this now. I can see I’ve got my work cut out for me. So much reading to do! Looking forward to it though. I’m getting the feeling that content is important esp for Adsense. LOL
Thanks for all you are doing for me. You’re one fantastic coach 🙂
I was wondering if you would burn out on the mini-site approach. I have stayed with an authority site approach using static websites. The only time I burned out was when I experienced blogging burnout.
Perhaps the lesson learned is to know yourself as to whether you can keep up daily postings. I am ready to start a new site and am exploring product based sites. I appreciate your public domain site and it’s material but have yet to use it as the source for a specific website.
Hmmm… Paul. Not sure if I would classify it as “burn-out” really. But I know it’s smart to look at all the stats and I realized that my authority sites are making the majority of my income.
Product based sites have been a real eye opener for me… and they are so fast to set up. I love this affiliate marketing model through targeted micro niche blogs and I’m learning so much about SEO and conversions.
I’m letting all my new micro-niche blogs “percolate” for a while to see how they do without anymore additions. The goal now is to try out the Amazonian Profit Plan and the idea of writing just a few really good product reviews. Spending most of my time working on increasing traffic to those product review pages is a new concept for me… well worth giving it a try.
You have got to try out using Public Domain material for blog content. It’s one of my favorite uses of Public Domain materiel and I know from experience that it works for SEO especially!.
