One of the first things I notice when I open the PDF of Amazonian Profit Plan is a really unique feature I haven’t ever seen used.
At the top of each page is my name (including the email address I used to purchase the product) and my unique Transaction ID.
This is really nice in case I want to ask for a refund or need to prove I purchased the product.
It also prevents anyone from “reselling” or giving away this product. Sweet.
Something else that is unique – No disclaimer on the second page.
I’ve purchased a ton of download products… I usually have to scroll past page 2 (the copyright and earnings disclaimer) in every one.
Not this time. I found a small disclaimer about copyright infringement on the contents page and again on the last page. I still have not seen an earnings disclaimer. Refreshing… might not be smart… but still refreshing.
Next – a short introduction about who the authors are and why they created this product. Nothing lengthy or overly pompous. Plain talk that speaks to the reader. The stand out is that these gals have been online since 2004, and they kept persevering until they got it right. They are not part of the overnight success crowd… I feel in tune with them already.
In fact – on page 6- these gals share what they believe is the ONE Thing that keeps most people from being successful online:
“It’s because most people never give it a chance…they just don’t stick at it long enough for it to succeed.”
That is such a true statement. If you want a shortcut – or the easy income button – you won’t find it in this product.
I’ve been saying the same thing for years. I also have been working online for years… and after several years I can say that I’ve figured out how to make it work for me. I have not reached the level of income that these gal’s have… but I’m sure going to read what they have to say. Learn from those who have already had the success.
By the time you reach page 7 – they are already getting into the meat of the system they are teaching. Impressive. In my previous review of the sales page – I questioned that a 74 page document could actually teach a new technique or system in great detail. If a product dives right in to the education part quickly… that’s a good sign.
A few more pages of explanations – what they did wrong when they first started out and why they like Amazon. Plus they also show how to sign up for the Amazon Affiliate program in case you haven’t started selling from Amazon yet.
These gal’s are not from the U.S. so they often take into consideration readers might need the info to do something in a different country than the U.S. I need to remember that when I’m working on my own products – I often forget there is a world outside.
Page 11 – finally – I see “STEP 1” Yippee!! They caution me to read the entire book once and then come back to step one and begin. Another caution:
“Each of the steps listed below is absolutely critical in the process. If you miss one, then you just won’t get the success you are after so keep to the plan and don’t deviate”
This cracks me up… because I know that I will miss a few critical points. I will do my best to follow the guide and get the entire “thing” finished. Then I’ll go back and read through the Amazonian Profit Plan again and go back and edit. You don’t have to remember everything in your head… it’s not a test. Just go back and read the book again… after all it’s not a big book.
I’m a bit confused on this first page of Step 1 – I think it’s me… but I will need to clarify with the authors. I’ve been doing so many IPK type websites lately and that’s in my brain. I can’t tell if the authors recommend using this system on small micro-niche sites or large authority sites. Or does it matter? Should we be building a new website or using the ones we already have? Does it matter?
I know the authors have multiple blogs promoting products… (they have been at this a while) – I’m going to have to get my head around where this system works best… or if “it doesn’t matter”.
Want to know what the title of Step One is? Choose a niche…forget it, just choose the product!
What??? You all know I’m all about choosing a Niche First! This will be different.
- Should we be thinking about products all for one blog?
- Should the products be related?
- Should we be concentrating on looking for a group of products within a brand name?
They have shown me a criteria to follow for choosing the Right products to promote. It’s a criteria I’ve seen before – somewhere. (can’t remember and I didn’t save it – it’s nice to see it here in black and white. And… they give us a little cheat sheet to use to keep track of the research. Nice. I don’t have to remember all the details… just follow the plan.
The step-by-step of choosing a product takes up 5 pages (not including the cheat sheet).
I’ve had a slap on the head just now. I’ve been choosing the wrong products to focus my effort on… actually I’ve also been focused on promoting too many products as well as the wrong product. The way they show to choose products is brilliant… I can see a few things that are already helpful… even if I don’t follow their entire system.
Plus… I see a nice example of how and why they choose a specific product. Step by step and with images so you can follow the logic.
Okay… I need to do the work now. Don’t let anyone tell you that making money from home isn’t work. It will take time and concentration to do Step 1. I want to follow their guidelines exactly – and see where I ht any brick walls.
If I have any problems – I’ll check in with the authors and share their answers.
