One of the most powerful things about the Thesis Theme is all the “options” you have. Many of you may be confused when you first “see” all the settings options you have. Don’t let them scare you! It’s all good.
Once you have installed the Thesis Theme – you will see this new box in your WordPress blog settings.
Click on “Site Options”.
You will see lot’s of areas to customize. Don’t freak… this is easy.
The little + signs are clicked to open up the “options” area for each setting.

Click on the “+” sign for Title Tag Settings:
This is something that I like to do – because it gives me another place to add my “main” keyword on every blog page and post.
Click on the box to add a check mark to “Append Site Name To Page Titles”.
In This Example the title of my blog post is “Crepes By Suzette” and the Main Keyword of the entire blog has been added to the title tag as – Professional Crepe Maker.
It’s now “Auto-Magically” added to each blog post and page.

I’ll share more settings in later articles – I promise!

Thank you Debra for posting the Thesis theme tutorials! I’ve had the Thesis theme for a while but never did anything with it because – well, I got overwhelmed just looking at it. LOL
When I found your tutorials, I dusted off Thesis and I’ve been playing with it for a couple days. It’s pretty cool! Hopefully I can get it looking as good as you do!
Hey Wendy – Thesis can be intimidating at first. It’s takes a bit of time to figure out “what it can do” and how to make it do what you want it to do.
That’s the beauty of Thesis – you don’t have to mess in the “code”. You just tell it to change something and then go see what it looks like – if you don’t like it – change it back.
Easy – Peasy!
Good luck – and I promise I’ll get more of these little tutorials posted soon.
