Blogs – what ever type of blog you have – must have a few “keep it legal” pages. What I don’t want is to have those pages part of my “navigation” at the top or side of my blog.
These pages are filled with content that Google want’s us to have – but they are not necessarily pages that readers need to find on the fly.
The pages I’m referring to are:
- About
- Contact
- Disclaimer
- Privacy
- Site Map

On micro niche blogs that I’m using to “sell” products as an affiliate – I’d rather have the links to “legalese” pages in the footer area.

The Thesis Theme makes this sooo easy!
Once you have added the Thesis Openhook Plugin you can scroll down to an area that looks like this:

Code looks like this:
<center><p>(c) 2010 <a href=”http://professionalcrepemaker.com”>Professional Crepe Maker</a></p></center></p></center><p><center>Purchases made through links on this site may result in commission being paid to the blog author.</center></p>
<p> <a href=”http://professionalcrepemaker.com/site-map/”>Site Map</a> |<a href=”http://professionalcrepemaker.com/about/”>About</a> | <a href=”http://professionalcrepemaker.com/disclaimer/”>Disclaimer</a> | <a href=”http://professionalcrepemaker.com/privacy/”>Privacy Policy</a> | <a href=”http://professionalcrepemaker.com/faq/”>FAQ</a>| <a href=”http://professionalcrepemaker.com/contact/”>Contact</a>
I never have to mess with WordPress Theme Editor once I have the Thesis Theme installed. Love that!
