Plan Ahead For Christmas Income

Yesterday I talked about my Plan For Working In Italy.  One of my goals:

These blogs are not Christmas gift related – So… I’m also in the process of brainstorming what my Christmas niche is going to be this year. I want to have one of “Those” Christmas seasons where the income just explodes!

I needed a plan of attack to have this Christmas Income Explosion actually be “really big” this year. I’m always to late in my Christmas marketing plan… which leads to – less than stellar sales.

This year I am planning 6 months ahead and getting started ASAP.

Last year I watched others spend a ton of time concentrating on toys.  I know that most of the Christmas budget is spent on toys… when kids are involved.  I almost – read again – Almost… got sucked on to that bandwagon.

But… I don’t have kids in the house any longer… and I don’t have grandchildren – yet.

I like to stick in the niches I know. I also like to have product based websites that are related to the gifts I’ve either purchased in the past – or – I’m thinking about purchasing.

I think this makes a good strong base for the “gift giving” niche.

Another way I looked for the best ideas for my new gift related sites – was to look at things I sold last Christmas season.

I looked at the “big ticket” items that I actually sold because of something I promoted – not just a fluke sale. If I sold it once – I can sell it 100 times.

I’m going to start with the “big” 2 that really stood out. (no I am NOT going to share- silly) These are products that are evergreen – year round – products. I like that. But the search count goes way UP around the holidays.

Then… I found a few other ideas for gifts that relate to gender or age groups that I think I can target in on easily. I’ll work on those next. I’m using my “Free Content For Websites” strategy to build content filled websites (blogs) in a day.

Towards the holidays – something will be THE gift that everyone wants. I don’t try to go after that market. I research it and find a way to sell related products.  If I have time.

I’m going full bore this year. Nothing is going to get in my way because I have goals I have to meet. If I’m going to spend time with my son during the holiday season – and take hubby with me (that’s a big IF – my income will have to be much higher already) then I need to have these Christmas websites in place soon.

I must have time to build the sites and to get them “stable” on Google. They do a little dance with new sites (sometimes) and I want to be through the growing pains by the end of the year.

That was my brainstorming for the day. It feels good to have a solid plan of attack for this portion of my goals.

I’ll keep you updated on the progress of this goal – and all my other goals as I go along. My question for you… What are you doing “Right Now” to plan for your Christmas Explosion.

Hey- I think I should create a product next year about Christmas Income Explosion. If the plan I have this year “works” – I think I will!
