Caught your attention again!! No – I’m not planning to move to Italy permanently.

My oldest son just got his orders for a 3 year stay (he is only going for two years – I’m going to have to get busy) in Naples, Italy! And I want to be able to work in Italy for a month at a time – so I can justify the trips. Sounds like a plan… Right?
Of course – 90% of my income is generated by my online niche websites and blogs… and the faux painting video’s I created and sell. All of this is set up now so I can work from anywhere.
The goal is to justify the cost of travel to Italy. Ya know those flights are going to be expensive and I’ll have to pay for “stuff” while I’m living with my son.
I’ve got to bump up the timeline for my income stream goals. And… the accountant says “If you can do something that will make money (profit) that is related to these “Work In Italy” plans… I can write off some of the travel expenses.
What Is The Income Goal?
Okay… so I have a goal. A motivational goal… and a tight squeeze time line. I’d like to take my first trip to Italy around the end of the year. Wheeewh… I don’t even know what the trips are going to cost yet (I’m chicken to look).
Update —> I put my May 2010 Goals here.
I think the first step is to get an idea of exactly how much I will need to increase my income levels. For instance… do I need to be at an extra $1000 a month by Oct? That sounds like a “doo-able” plan.
Working backwards -
I have 6 months to make that happen. So – in May if I make $200 more than my normal income level – I’m in good shape. Then each month thereafter would have to have an increase of $200 over the last month. Now that doesn’t seem like an impossible goal… does it?
How am I going to achieve this goal?
I have several new irons in the fire… but I’ve got to “re-think” the strategy to make them work “long-term”.
- I have a new product in the pipeline. It’s all about how I create micro-niche “tightly targeted” blogs in a day. But you all know that new products are a Big Flash of income and then they drizzle down to a steady stream. If the steady stream continues for months… Great. But – that is a hit-or-miss plan.
- I have 3 video products (for the decorative painters) that are good steady sellers. I am in the process of setting them all up in an affiliate program so I can have a sales army of affiliates selling them as well. If that goes as planned my income goals will be much easier to reach.
- I have a new business – helping local brick and mortar business owners get found online. I can’t get these as new clients if I leave town. But… If they are already clients before I leave… I can work on the projects from anywhere. This could be the portion of my business that put’s me in the black for this goal.
- I’m continuing my “under the radar” micro niche blog expansion. Because I’ve created my own system for creating a “blog-in-a-day”… I am really working on ramp-ing up my affiliate income with these blogs. So far I’m loving the results. And… I’m having a ton of fun in the process. These blogs are not Christmas gift related – So… I’m also in the process of brainstorming what my Christmas niche is going to be this year. I want to have one of “Those” Christmas seasons where the income just explodes!
It feels like I have a plan now. A plan to Work In Italy. Goals – long and short term – are a fantastic way to get very Focused!
I know where I’m at right now… and I know where I want to be in 6 months… and I have set goals for each month.
I’ll keep you updated on just what I’m working on and how if I’m making progress in the right direction.

Wow! Molto Bene Debra. Not a bad goal at all
That’s putting it mildly.
I’m wishing you the best of luck and I don’t have any doubts about your ability to achieve this one.
