May 2010 Income Goals

by Debra Conrad

I promised that I would show you how I plan to increase my income goals a bit at a time over the next 6 months.

The goal I set here —> My Plan To Work In Italy is to increase my monthly income by $200 every month for the next 6 months. I hope to have a very nice Christmas!

That means in May – I need to make $200 more than I made in April.  In June I will need to increase my income by $400 over what I made in April… and so on.

To give a base – line for the income goal – I need to have the facts and figures from April 2010.

As it’s only May 2… they are not all available yet.

The income for products that I own and sell (PayPal Income Only) for April – after fees $905.67

Google Adsense Income $1371.27

Affiliate Income (This is hard to do because I have so many places that send checks… so it will be an close estimate).

$133.25

$2.05

$11.32

$59.96

Like I said… I don’t have all my affiliate income stats available yet.  In the meantime – I’ll take this figure as my base.

$2483.52

So for good measure – I’m going to say that I need to have my income total at least $2690.00 for the month of May.

  • I’ve already started 4 new small micr-niche blogs late last month
  • I did get the new “Build and Fill A Blog In A Day” product launched today.
  • The affiliate program I’m trying to get set up for my own products – is a slow go. I hope to have it done by mid-month.
  • If I get a check from my first offline business consulting job this month… Well let’s just say – my income goals for this month and the next few months will have been met. :0)

Let me make something perfectly clear! These are not hard goals to reach. I don’t make $10,000 a month in income (yet)…

I have set for myself reachable goals. (Don’t set yourself up for failure)

I made a plan to be able to reach these goals. (Make A Plan – Work The Plan)

I also gave myself a kick in the pants to get my Christmas Income Producing projects started now.  (Not going to kick myself this year for not having this done)

My plan for this month is:

Start and Finish – at least 10 new micro-niche focused websites.

Find the top 10 landing pages on all my old blogs – and make sure they have a strong call to (buying) action.

Get my “darned” affiliate program live and working smoothly… once it’s done – I can start building my sales army.

Land my first “paying” local brick and motor marketing client.

Somewhere in that list is how I will increase my income by $200 this month!  What are your plans?

My plans are to take my online projects a lot more serious and by the last day of December be making at least the money I am currently making from my “real” job.

Hi Debra,

Well only another $190 dollars to go, I invested $10 in your “Build and Fill A Blog In A Day” product, and it was well worth the money. It’s a fairly small product, and it was only $10, so I didn’t really expect a lot from it, and I haven’t even finished going through it all yet even! But I have to say that there have been more good ideas per page than pretty much every other product I have ever bought. I have implemented one or two of them already and they have already saved me time, so well worth the investment.

So like I say only $190 to go (i’m sure it’ll be less by now :-) , but I have a feeling that with this product alone you’ll be beating your targets for quite a few months to come.

Love it

Jim

Hey Jim – Thanks for taking me one step closer to my goal for this month!

I’m so glad you “loved” the product. I get really excited when others find value in the information I share.

Be sure to keep me posted on your results.

Jim – make sure you follow your plan. Nose to grindstone and all that… If you get to December and you can see that all that work paid off – then rinse and repeat for next year.

Soon “WE” won’t be wondering when we can retire… we will “BE Retired”!

Keep me posted on your progress
