Did I make the May 2010 Income Goals I set for myself?

Let’s add ‘em up and see…
The income for products that I own and sell (PayPal Income Only) for May – after fees $486.99
This was a horrible month for my own products – I had a “glitch” in my “system” and suffered for it. You can read about that here: Lost Income
Google Adsense Income $1103.31
Something about spring – every year I start to see a dip in Adsense income starting about May and doesn’t let up until Sept. :0(
Affiliate Income
$219.51
$18.46
$25.59
$38.80
Total For May – $1892.66 Ouch!
Total For April – $2483.52
Lost Ground!
I’m still okay for the Work In Italy Income Goal – because I did get a nice fat check for my new “offline marketing business“.
The original goal was to “increase” my monthly income by $200 – I wanted to have my income total at least $2690.00 for the month of May. (without that extra Offline Marketing Business Income).
The Good News Is:
I know what happened – and the product website that was causing me so much pain is all fixed – the sales are about back to normal. Gesh… I’ll let it sit for about a month before I make any new income efforts for those products.
I have had a new (under the radar) membership site launch – which is doing very nice.
I have 2 new products that I’m working on that will launch over the next few months. One is another membership style product – and the other is a huge “how-to” product that I’m really excited about. It’s killer.
I have 3 more new micro-niche sites that are ranking very well and starting to get traffic.
The Goals Are Still The Same:
My income goal for June 2010 is $2890.
I’ve got to pull up my britches and stay on track with new products and new micro niche websites. Because I finally got a great system for starting and finishing these micro niche websites in a day- Free Content For Websites - I can power though the domains I’ve purchased over the last few weeks.
I am very happy with this last niche blog I started and completed last Wednesday – it’s ranked high and getting traffic!
I’ve been watching (hovering) over all my affiliate statistics – and it I may just make the June Income goal after all.

Hi Debra!
Have you noticed if any of your mini sites have been affected by the Google MayDay update? I’ve been hearing on several forums that many mini sites have been de-indexed or have lost a significant amount of traffic since the update. A couple of my smaller sites have lost some traffic through Google, but are still doing well in Yahoo and Bing.
I’ve purchased the Public Domain Treasure Hunters guide and your Blog in One Day report – and have really enjoyed both! I’m working now to get some sites set up using your methods. I’m also incorporating WPRobot into some of my sites. I really like that you concentrate on real content (adding value) rather than scraped info. I’m a writer and just hate that so many people are just littering the Internet with all that “stuff”. I think that’s the real reason behind Google’s recent update. They’re trying to clean up all that mess on the side of the road. =)
Wendy – I did see 2 of my mini sites take a hit – about 30% less traffic.
And yet I’ve also seen several of my mini sites have increased traffic. I didn’t change a thing on any of them.
The 2 sites that the traffic was hard hit – one of them has actually increased in income. Go figure.
I’m so glad you are a Public Domain fan! This is the one “easiest” way I found to add great “real” “useful” content to a blog.
I don’t have to “think” about what to write about – and I don’t have to “re-write” the content like I do with PLR.
Not that I don’t use PLR – I do! PLR and Public Domain content are a match made in heaven.
Keep me posted on your own results.
