Is Retail Arbitrage For You – The Book

First… thanks to all of you who responded to Now I Need To Hear From You – It helps me so much to have your thoughts.

You all know (at least I hope you do) that I won’t be “coaching” personally – but I will be helping you to grow your business. I’ve been teaching a long time and it’s easy for me to do… so why should I stop now?

It looks (by all your emails and comments) as if I can help you grow your Amazon business –  just by sharing what I’m doing with mine.

I’ll also share my thoughts about any new helpful tutorials that I find – After I give them a thorough review.  I find it strange and surprising that you haven’t asked me about Chris Greens new product “Retail Arbitrage”.

I’ve had my copy for over a week and I’ve finally made it through once. (It’s big)… and I’ll go through and read it again and review it for you right here. Look for that over the next few days.

What’s really interesting is not about the content of the book – but about the people who have talked about the book.

First – many think it’s too expensive.  (It is really pricey)…. and yet they didn’t read the book. They just said it couldn’t possibly teach them anything they didn’t already know – or – how could anyone charge that much for a book when you can learn it all for free on Amazon.com or on free forums.

What do I say to that? “Keep me from slapping the stupid people”.  I really don’t like anyone to to discount to value of information… if they haven’t even read the book.

I keep calling this a “book” because that’s how it reads. Totally different than a “Report” that is normally published by an Internet Marketer. The reason (I think) is this is going to be published in physical book format on Amazon. I asked Chris if he was planning to sell this book on Amazon for $97? or if we could purchase the book (when it’s published) for much less and it would be the same content.

He hasn’t answered me yet – I think I put him on the spot.

Have you joined FBAFinds.com? I know some of you have. The doors are closed right now… but I talked to Jordan and the doors should re-open in a week or so. (hurry up Jordan… I’ve got my people who want in). 🙂

On a “free forum) – I’ve seen more bad talk about FBAFinds.com. My first thoughts to these people is – good riddance to bad rubbish.  For the most part these people are just plain mean anyway and I don’t want them in FBAFinds.

BTW – Jordan has made me head mistress (moderator) inside FBAFinds.com – so if you do mess up and get nasty – this old battle ax will call you on it. Watch out!

One other set of comments about FBAFinds that I read on a “free forum” was about competition.

The thought is that if you buy from Jordan’s recommendations – and a bunch of others buy it as well – then the price will drop like a rocket and no one makes a profit.

Not true in reality… but if they aren’t in it to win it – more room for the rest of us.

These are the people who still say that you can make good money on Amazon selling books for a penny or $3. Get real… do you know how many books you would have to sell to make a decent living? Geeesh… Let ’em have that part of the business.

Advertising on Craigslist

Have you put ads on Craigslist to find products to sell on Amazon yet? I just (I mean within the last hour) put my first two up.  I’m looking for two specific toys that sell really well on Amazon for a nice profit. I’ll let you know how that goes / or if I get any bites. It’s easy to advertise on CraigsList and free… what was stopping me?  I don’t know.. but I did learn from Jordan how to word the ad so the seller wouldn’t be coming to me – I would go to them (actually – I’d send my hubby – safer that way).

You Never Know Where or When You Will Find The Deals

Walmart is turning out to be the most frustrating of gold mines.

I mentioned to hubby that I needed to check out one of our local Walmarts for an item that has been selling well. I’m almost out of stock and the other 2 Walmarts are already sold out.

I promised it would be a quick in/out trip. 2 1/2 hours later we finally had the car loaded and headed home.

First thing we saw when we walked into the clearance toy area (which I had purchased 2 carts full last week) were these HUGE signs:

“Take an EXTRA 50% off all toy and household clearance”.

Are you kidding me? I turned to hubby and said “we need another cart“!

He was laughing at me because every time the store manager made an announcement over the PA about the extra discount I was swearing under my breath: “Shut up until I’m finished“. LOL

The girls that worked the area even helped us stack stuff into our carts they were so thrilled to see things go.

We hit the other 2 Walmart’s and they looked at us like we were from another planet when we asked if they had the same deal. Confused

Okay… that’s it for today. I’ve only had 2 hours of sleep and need a nice comfy nap and then get listing!

Always Be Listing!
