I started another Info Product Killer Website (combined with my one day blog style) last night.
I started this site as a complete fluke. I found one of my websites was getting traffic for the oddest keyword phrase. I finally went over the site with a fine tooth comb to see “why” this site was ranking so well for this long tail phrase. (which it should be at all…)

I had to giggle – because I “Did” find that keyword phrase used several times in one article. I don’t even remember writing that article – but there it was.
Here is my thinking:
If I can rank on page one of Google for a phrase I can’t even remember using – on a site that isn’t related to the subject… well what could I do if I had an entire site focused on that keyword?
I’ve done this many times – and it works every time. After a site has some age – you will start to see some pages on your site get very high rankings – for keywords you never expected.
Use that knowledge to your advantage. Only you have access to the very best keyword tool in the world. Your own stats!
Anyway - I built this site last night with 5 lonely blog posts. I used most of the strategy that is taught in Info Product Killer.
This morning I checked (just for grins) to see if it had been indexed. It has! In 12 hours all the pages on this site have been indexed by Google. This has NEVER happened to me before!
I’m ashamed to say I thought I knew everything I needed about linking and SEO… I did not know near enough.
