I got an email today:
First great product with “blog in a day“!!!
How do you come up with your ideas for your micro niche ideas……or better yet how can I
![]()
I’m pretty sure I would not have thought of the crepe maker site or Toy Story site.
It was just quicker to show you on a video and share with everyone. :0)
I find micro niche site ideas in two ways:
1. I use tracking to find good keywords on my own websites.
2. I use micro-niche finder to find new – untapped micro niches.

Debra,
How do you know whether you can use a certain product name in your domain as far as trademark laws?
Hi Inez…
Tricky question. I know that using Brand or Trademark names in domain names can be a big no-no.
My feelings on this subject: (everyone has to do their own decision making on this subject
1. I’m promoting the product – not stealing the name for my own product. Win – Win
2. If someone every “called me on the carpet” from a company for trademark or brand infringement – I would take down the site and use all the content
on another site. They Win – and I only Loose a bit.
3. Some names are just toooo “much” for me. Like Disney and Coca Cola. I do have my limits.
Most searchers don’t search for Disney Toy Story Bedding… It’s just Toy Story Bedding.
But you can’t search for “Kitchenaid Mixer” easily with out using the word Kitchenaid.
At one time I did worry about this…. but then I “got over myself” and decided that most brands were not going to be worried about
little old me… and if they are – no big deal. I’ll just take the content and the sales elsewhere.
Remember – You have to make up your own mind… I’m not a lawyer and I don’t play one on T.V.
Debra
Hi Debra,
Thank you for your thorough answer. I guess I’m always worrying about things like that. What you said makes a lot of sense, though!
