You have heard the saying “Slow and Steady Win’s The Race” – tortoise vs. hare? Well… Christine is making great progress, slow and steady progress on her Christmas related niche websites.

Christine is not out to make a “fortune” this Christmas season… she does want to make sure she is doing everything “right” so the possibility of making income is always – well – possible.
By using IPK strategies (that I know really work) her sites are getting indexed, ranked and visitors.
The main “mother” site (IPK term) - Top Christmas Gift Ideas is growing nicely. Christine has added a ton of original content as well as the WP Robot plugin is now doing it’s job. New content is now being added every day – Amazon product content – on auto pilot.
Christine did purchase some Christmas PLR for this site and she needs to finish getting those “blog posts” updated and published.
Christine is moving on to the “baby” sites now (another IPK term) and they are all coming along.
Popcorn Popper Cart has original content and the WP Robot plugin is now in place – auto posting Amazon products.
Hogwarts Castle Lego has a nice new theme – original content and WP Robot is doing it’s thing. An IPK style “call to action” image has been installed. It can hum along on it’s own now.
Christmas Party Help is an unusual “mini niche” because it could be a “baby” site or a “mother” site. Right now we are treating it as a “baby” site… but next year Christine can turn it into an IPK style “mother” site if she want’s to.
The site does have original content and of course the WP Robot plug-in is “plugging away”.
Christine still has some basic work to do on the Christmas party help site.
- About, disclaimer and contact pages have not been set up yet.
- She hasn’t installed all the plug-ins.
- products need to be added to the sidebar areas.
Outdoor LED Christmas Lights looks pretty good.
Nice original content from Christine. This is also a site we used Public Domain content to help with SEO. And… yes – WP Robot is doing it’s thing.

Christine needs to become an affiliate for CafePress.com and Zazzle.com
I did have to go in and change the “categories” for Christine. She didn’t follow the IPK guidelines. (well she did sort of – they just needed a tweak to work right)
Christine also needs to remember to keep the plug-in’s updated as well as Word Press itself.
She can also insert Google Adsense to add to the income opportunities.
Squidoo Lenses For Some Extra Link Juice (another IPK term)
This lens is set to sell (as an affiliate) printable games. The program it’s promoting now needs to be changed. I found a better program that has more games, better graphics for affiliates and Pays More Commission!!! Share -A- Sale is the place to sign up for Python Printable Games. Christine got approved instantly (no waiting to use affiliate links) so now she can go in and “get ‘er done”.

Did you notice all the Public Domain content used in these Squidoo Lenses??? I’m just saying…
Use Sqidoo lenses to link to your regular sites using Anchor Text as it instructs in IPK.

Wow! That took a lot of work, Christine. I have made Squidoo Lenses before but not as detailed as you did. You did a wonderful job. I am just starting to learn and have so much to learn that at times it scares me. I am persisting though. I feel this could be a good niche for me. Took me a long time to find it but I feel confident that I can do it. I am usually a scaredy cat in almost everything. I hide my head underground like a ostrich so that I don’t have to think about it. Keep up the good work, Christine.

When I’m drowning, I’ll just doggy paddle my way to the surface. I’m a scaredy cat, too with Internet ‘stuff’. I think Debra would second me on that, but I’m getting better and loving the learning curve.

Adding content is definitely on the agenda today. I have been doing the fiddly bits that are required behind the scenes and content has been neglected. There’s a lot to learn ie adding widgets, Squidoo.
My partner set up his own Squidoo account to learn how it works so that he can teach me. Sometimes he’s supportive like that, but not always
I have tutorials but there’s nothing like a real person sitting with me showing me the ropes.
Tutorials will now make more sense

Christine, I know what you are going through. I am currently working on the KIT and trying to make sense of it all. I have finished the first chapter and am getting ready to start chapter 2.
I have done Squidoo before but will probably have to learn to use it the right way. I was using it to support my jewelry team’s shops. I have a few that were condensed together and they recommended that I separate them out. Let me know what your squidoo is. Here is mine
